Pam Bauer was bitten by the travel bug during her first trip on her own, as a college student traveling from the northeast to southern California. She found year-round sun, sand, and palm trees… and discovered how exhilarating it is to experience the sights, sounds, flavors and textures of new people, places and cultures. After graduating with an engineering degree, Pam spent fourteen years working in a variety of business environments, from high-tech to non-profit, before leaving the corporate world behind. She was motivated to create her first journal when she searched unsuccessfully for a good travel journal to take on a trip abroad. Combining her traveling experience with creative inspiration and an engineer's attention to detail, she developed exactly what she was looking for: a travel journal both delightfully stylish and eminently useful. She makes every journal by hand and enjoys imagining to what destinations near and far each journal will go.
